NURSERY SHOP
Our Nursery Shop is open everyday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. We are looking forward to seeing you and showcasing our fantastic range of plants! We grow over 1500 varieties on our nursery - too many to display in the shop! We therefore offer a Click and Collect service where you can pre-order from our full range on this website and we will get them prepared for you.
Ordering is easy. Just place your items in the basket, go to 'Review Order' and select 'Order for Collection'.
Please give us 48 hours notice to prepare your order. We will call you as soon as they are ready for collection.
Trade customers are welcome by appointment (Mon-Fri only).
MAIL ORDER
Our online mail order service operates all year-round, weather permitting, and orders are sent out by courier as soon.
In rare cases, we will contact you if there is an issue with your order, otherwise it is safe to assume that your order is being processed as swiftly as possible. We aim to deliver to you within 5 working days.
We regret that we are no longer able to send to Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands or EU countries.
Welcome to Macplants Berrybank Nursery
Macplants are a long-established business in East Lothian. We grow Scotland's largest range of herbaceous perennials, alpines, ferns and ornamental grasses including many interesting and unusual varieties. Amongst those are our highly praised autumn Gentians bred here by Dr Ian McNaughton and an extensive range of Meconopsis cultivars. All our plants are grown in peat-free compost.
Our plant centre is open to the public every day and we supply many trade clients across the UK including landscape companies and garden designers.
Our retail shop always offers a huge selection of our quality home-grown plants including shrubs, perennials, alpines, ferns and grasses. You will also find lovely seasonal bedding plants for instant colour plus a selection of roses, climbers and trees.
In addition we offer a great range of compost and growing media products including the premium Sylvagrow range and our shop is well-stocked with a range of gardening essentials.
