Gentiana 'The Caley'

Common Name: 'Autumn gentian'

AGM. If you are only going to grow one gentian make sure it's this one! A fabulous plant, this is an award-winning Macplants introduction, chosen and named in celebration of 200 years of The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society (known as "The Caley") in 2009. It has masses of exceptionally large blue trumpet-shaped flowers, Sep-Oct. H10cm S30cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in lime-free, moist but well-drained soil in sun. Suitable for borders or, if you don't have the correct conditions in your garden, it is excellent and easy for container planting and looks fabulous in a pot for a sunny patio or step.
