The nursery is open to the public as follows:

1st March to 20th December - 10.00am-5pm - Daily, 7 days a week

We are closed over the Christmas and New Year period.

Our trade opening hours are Monday-Friday year round (except for holidays), by appointment only.

About Us

Macplants have been growing top-quality perennials and alpines in East Lothian since 1979. We specialise in hardy perennials and grow one of the UK's widest ranges. Of particular note are our collections of Himalayan Blue Poppies (Meconopsis), autumn Gentians, Sanguisorbas, Hostas plus over 50 varieties of perennial Geraniums.
