Synonym(s): Cimicifuga cordifolia Common Name: 'Black snake root'

Formerly known as Cimicifuga cordifolia. Slender, creamy, bottlebrush flowers, from brown buds are produced on tall dark stems in the autumn. This variety has green foliage and is the earliest flowering of any Actaea on our list. Aug-Oct. H100cm S60cm.
