A shrubby, evergreen perennial with oblong, dark green leaves and spikes of pink-purple tubular flowers from summer to autumn. Jun-Sep. H60cm S30cm.
Prefers well-drained soil that is neutral to alkaline in sun or partial shade. Good for planting under roses and other shrubs; attracts beneficial insects. Useful as edging in borders and on patios. Clip it soon after flowering in a similar way to Lavender.
