Miscanthus sinensis 'Variegatus'Common Name: 'Eulalia'
A clump-forming deciduous grass. Tall, robust clumps of attractive narrow, arching white and green striped foliage. Reddish flowerheads sometimes appear in autumn. Sep-Oct. H150cm S90cm.
Grow in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, but dislikes excessive winter wet. Like all Miscanthus, clumps will benefit from being cut back hard in the spring to encourage new growth.
