Miscanthus sinensis 'Samurai'Common Name: 'Eulalia'
A deciduous, clump-forming perennial grass which makes a robust, upright plant. The folded flowers emerge red-brown, maturing silver, and the deep green foliage which is tinged red, turns yellow in autumn. Sep-Oct. H150cm S75cm.
Grow in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, but dislikes excessive winter wet. Like all Miscanthus, clumps will benefit from being cut back hard in the spring to encourage new growth.
