A mat-forming perennial for shady woodland. Lovely carpets of heart-shaped glossy green leaves with racemes of small, scented, white flowers in late spring and early summer followed by small berries. May-Jun. H10cm S30cm.

Easily grown in any shaded or partially shaded site and free-draining, preferably moist soil.
