Viola cornuta 'Boughton Blue'

An excellent, old variety, which makes a large, dense clump of light green, lance-shaped leaves topped with beautiful pure, sky blue flowers over a very long period. Apr-Oct. H20cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Like most violas, it blooms over a very long period, benefitting from a quick haircut after its first flowering to encourage more to appear and to keep the plant looking tidy. Excellent at the front of a border, spilling over pathways or in containers.
