Viola 'Martin'
Common Name: 'Tufted pansy'AGM. One of our favourites, with rich, deep-violet, fragrant flowers with a tiny yellow eye, above a compact mound of foliage. Apr-Oct. H15cm S25cm.
Care Instructions
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Like most violas, it blooms over a very long period, benefitting from a quick haircut after its first flowering to encourage more to appear and to keep the plant looking tidy. Excellent at the front of a border, spilling over pathways or in containers.
