Common Name: 'Golden 'Pick-a-back plant', 'Golden piggyback plant'

PBR. A new, clump-forming, evergreen perennial with golden yellow-green leaves. An improvement on Tolmiea menziesii 'Taff's Gold' that isn't as prone to reversion to green. Sprays of tiny, insignificant maroon flowers appear in late spring and early summer, May-Jul. H30cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist, humus-rich soil in shade or semi-shade but also excellent in a pot. Makes a great splash of colour in a shady corner. Sun will scorch the leaves. Where the leaf blade joins the petiole stem, miniature plantlets form and root if the leaf touch moist soil.
