A compact-growing alpine plant with lance-shaped dark green leaves. Upright stems bear small star-shaped white flowers from late spring into summer. May-Jul. H20cm S10cm.

Best grown in sun or light shade and well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Dislikes winter wet.
