Common Name: 'Houseleek'

A mat-forming, evergreen perennial with rosettes of pinkish-red leaves with silvery hairs, and starry purplish flowers on stems in summer. Soon grows into a large clump. Jul-Aug. H10cm S30cm.

Care Instructions

Plant in moderately fertile well-drained soil in full sun. A drought tolerant plant which dislikes excessive winter wet. Good in a rock garden, trough or alpine pan.
