Common Name: 'London pride'

AGM. A perennial forming wide mats of rosettes of spoon-shaped, long-stalked leaves with scalloped margins. A haze of tiny pink flowers flushed white appears in early summer. May-June. H20cm S indefinite.

Grown since the 17th century, this hardy and undemanding plant is easy to grow in any soil type or situation but makes useful evergreen ground cover for shade, even in poor soil.
