Common Name: 'Japanese saxifrage'

This clump-forming perennial has large, round leaves with scalloped margins and loose heads of showy, spidery white flowers late in the year. The dark green leaves have pinkish-red undersides, are deciduous and the plant will die back underground like a herbaceous plant over winter. Oct-Nov. H45cm S30cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in moist, humus-rich soil in semi-shade or shade. Lovely in a shady rock garden or front of a shady border where the foliage looks attractive for a long period before the wonderful flowers appear very late in the autumn.
