Saxifraga fortunei 'Mount Nachi'

Common Name: 'Japanese saxifrage'

A compact rosette-forming perennial with bronzy-green leaves which have reddish-purple undersides, and dense heads of largish white flowers. The leaves are deciduous and the plant will die back underground like a herbaceous plant over winter. Oct-Nov. H20cm S25cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in moist, humus-rich soil in shade or semi-shade. Lovely in a shady rock garden or front of a shady border where the foliage looks attractive for a long period before the flowers appear very late in the autumn.
