Pulmonaria rubra 'David Ward'

Common Name: 'Lungwort'

A clump-forming perennial with coral-red flowers which are a remarkable contrast to the distinctive leaves which are very pale green with a broad white margin. Mar-May. H30cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

For a moist, humus-rich soil in shade or part shade. Nice ground cover for a shady spot where the soil remains reasonably moist in summer but isn't waterlogged in winter. Cutting hard back after flowering encourages fresh leaf growth which will then look attractive over summer.

Plant No: 2605
