Common Name: 'Giant cowslip'

AGM. This impressive plant has upright stems of strongly scented, pendant bell-shaped flowers which are usually yellow but sometimes in shades of orange, from a basal rosette of leaves in summer Jun-Aug. H75cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Vigorous and easy if grown in a moist, humus-rich, neutral to acid soil in sun or partial shade. It looks great planted next to water and will actually grow in shallow margins of a pond.
