Persicaria polymorpha

Synonym(s): Koenigia alpina, Persicaria alpina, Polygonum polymorphum Common Name: 'Giant white fleece flower', 'Alpine knotweed'

This wonderful large, tough, clump-forming perennial produces plumes of long-lasting, creamy-white flowers for much of the summer and well into autumn on strong stems with pointed leaves. It is robust and self-supporting but not invasive. Jul-Sep. H180cm S100cm.

Care Instructions

Easy to grow in any moderately fertile soil in full sun or partial shade. It prefers moist soil but is tolerant of drier conditions. Good for prairie style plantings and for growing at the edge of woodland.
