Synonym(s): Bistorta affinis 'Donald Lowndes', Polygonum affine 'Donald Lowndes' Common Name: 'Knotweed'AGM. Robust, vigorous ground cover. From mid-summer until late autumn it is covered in poker spikes of pale pink flowers that turn deeper as they mature. The dense carpet of foliage turns russet-brown over the late autumn and winter.
