Common Name: 'Bergamot'A clump-forming perennial with aromatic, lanceolate deep green leaves and whorls of deep burgundy-red flowers which are produced up the stem. Jul-Sep. H90cm S45cm.
Care Instructions
Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Dislikes excessive winter wet but do not allow to dry out in summer. The aromatic green foliage is sometimes used as a herb. Attractive to bees.
