Common Name: 'Purple moor grass'

A lovely clump-forming deciduous grass. A profusion of heads of dark purplish flowers abound on upright stems in late summer and autumn. Jun-Sep. H100cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in full sun or part shade in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, although tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Cut back stems close to ground level from early March.
