Miscanthus sinensis 'Kleine Silberspinne'Common Name: 'Eulalia'
AGM. A compact clump-forming perennial grass with lots of relatively large heads of feathery, reddish flowers which soon turn pale brown, are held above a dense clump of narrow leaves with a white midrib. The foliage turns a biscuit colour over winter. Can take a few years to become established at its full stature. Sep-Oct. H120cm S75cm.
Grow in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, but dislikes excessive winter wet. Like all Miscanthus, clumps will benefit from being cut back hard in the spring to encourage new growth.
