Meconopsis 'Slieve Donard'
Common Name: 'Himalayan Poppy'AGM. This well-known clone is vigorous and tall. It consistently produces well-rounded, pure sky blue flowers with only the slight or occasional intermingling of purple or mauve shades. May-Jul. H120-150cm S60cm.

Care Instructions
Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil in an open situation or in partial shade. Keep well-watered in hot, dry weather and sheltered from cold drying winds. Summer drought is the worst “enemy” of these plants but also avoid boggy conditions. Divide every few years in early spring to maintain vigour.
This variety is part of the Infertile Blue Group of Meconopsis and is vegetatively propagated.
