Luzula sylvatica 'Hohe Tatra'

Synonym(s): Luzula sylvatica 'Aurea' Common Name: 'Greater woodrush'

Dense, evergreen clumps of broad, bright yellow foliage which is bright green when young. Grows in dense shade and is tolerant of dry conditions once established. Open panicles of small, brown flowers bloom in early summer. Jun-Jul. H60cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in any poor to moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Intolerant of full sun on poor dry soil but will tolerate sun if soil is constantly moist. Good impenetrable, tough ground cover.
