Ligularia dentata 'Desdemona'

Common Name: 'Leopard plant'

A clump-forming, moisture-loving perennial, grown for its large, rounded, purple-green leaves that are deep purple beneath. It has large, orange-yellow daisy flowers that are produced in flat clusters on dark, branching stems in summer. Jul-Aug. H120cm S90cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in deep, fertile, moisture-retentive soil in full sun or partial shade. Shelter from cold, drying winds. A striking subject for the bog garden or pond side planting
