Common Name: 'Red-hot poker'

The traditional 'Red-hot poker' with spikes of red and yellow flowers in mid-summer. Slightly lax, evergreen foliage. This is a seed grown strain and there may be some variability in flower colour between plants. Jun-Aug. H120cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in a sandy soil that has been enriched with humus but any deep, moist but well-drained soil will do. Full sun is best; can tolerate partial shade but flowering is reduced.
