Common Name: 'Red-hot poker'

A clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial with strap-like, long green leaves. Soft, burnt orange flowers fading to cream as they age, emerge from bronze buds. Sep-Oct. H75cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in a sandy soil that has been enriched with humus but any deep, moist but well-drained soil will do. Full sun is best; can tolerate partial shade but flowering is reduced.
