A clump-forming perennial that produces beautiful, velvety, deep purple flowers in early summer on rigid stems. Narrow, linear leaves provide useful form until the frost. May-Jun. H100cm.S60cm.

Care Instructions

Tolerant of a wide range of conditions but best in a moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Looks good planted near water or for adding vertical interest to a border. Lythrum 'Robert' makes a good planting partner.
