Common Name: 'Coral bells'

A more or less evergreen, clump-forming perennial with attractive, rounded, leaves purple beneath, with green margins and netted with dark veins. Long spikes of insignificant small greenish-white flowers are borne in early summer. Jun-Jul. H45cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist, fertile but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Every so often it may be necessary to lift and replant as the rootsock tends to lift out of the ground. Excellent for the front of a border or container planting. The flowers are loved by bees.
