Care Instructions

Best grown in moist, fertile soil and sun or partial shade. Tough and tolerant of a wide range of conditions, even boggy soils, but responds well to good feeding. Drought and shade reduce flowering. Divide every so often to maintain vigour. Grown since the 16th century, this plant is easy to grow, long-lived and trouble-free.
