Synonym(s): Helleborus corsicus Common Name: 'Corsican hellebore'

AGM. Pale green flowers are borne in loose trusses above sculptural, leathery, evergreen leaves which are comprised of three spiny-toothed dark green leaflets. Jan-Mar. H75cm S75cm.

Care Instructions

Thrives in neutral to alkaline soils that are moist, fertile and humus-rich. Partial shade is ideal but can tolerate full sun. Provide shelter from strong, cold winds. Invaluable for interest in the winter and early spring. Cut back the spent flowering shoots in mid-summer.
