Gentiana 'Oban'

Common Name: 'Autumn gentian'

AGM. This is another of our own Berrybank Hybrids, bred by Ian McNaughton of Macplants. These Gentians are floriferous and multi-headed, with a greater density of flowers and longer flowering period than most varieties as well as being of compact habit. Striking, pure white trumpet-shaped flowers. Tidy habit. Aug-Oct. H5cm S20cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in lime-free, moist but well-drained soil in sun. Suitable for borders or, if you don't have the correct conditions in your garden, it is excellent and easy for container planting and looks fabulous in a pot for a sunny patio or step.
