Eryngium planum 'Blauer Zwerg'

Common Name: 'Sea holly'

A low-growing variety with masses of amethyst-blue stems and button-flowers which darken to sapphire surrounded by spiny bracts in late summer. Jul-Sep. H50cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Plant in dry, well-drained soil that is poor or moderately fertile. Full sun is essential. Great for a sunny border or gravel garden. Dislikes winter wet. Excellent for drying.
