Eryngium bourgatii
Common Name: 'Mediterranean sea holly'This useful, compact perennial has a good crop of spiky, silvery-blue thistles above a mound of attractive finely cut, silver-veined leaves. Jul-Aug. H45cm S45cm.
Care Instructions
It is good in a dry sandy site but easy in most soils as long as it is planted in full sun. We sometimes get a second crop of flowers if it is cut right back as it begins to fade.
