Eremurus himalaicus

Common Name: 'Foxtail lily'

This is one of the earliest Eremurus to flower and has magnificent long white spikes made up of tiny white flowers which open from the botom to the tip. The strap-like leaves appear in spring and start to die bacjk when the flower appears. May-Jun. H150cm S30cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in sun and well-drained soil,  preferably in a sheltered site away from strong wind. They might need a mulch against extreme cold as they emerge early and care should be taken against slugs.
