Synonym(s): Epimedium pinnatum subsp. colchicum 'Black Sea' Common Name: 'Barrenwort'A clump-forming perennial with red-tinted young foliage in spring which turns greener and then ages deep red to almost black in autumn. Translucent orange flowers with primrose yellow inner petals are borne delicately on wiry, red stems, Apr-May. H30cm S60cm
