Dianthus carthusianorum

Common Name: 'Carthusian pink', 'German pink'

An evergreen clump-forming perennial forming low mounds of grass-like green leaves. Tall, slender stems produce heads bearing clusters of several, lightly fragrant, magenta-pink flowers, Jul-Sep. H40cm S20cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in sun and well-drained, neutral-alkaline soil. An excellent choice for a gravel garden where looks good in association with airy grasses and the steel-blue heads of eryngiums.
