Synonym(s): Deschampsia 'Golden Veil' Common Name: 'Tufted hair grass'

A relatively tall clump-forming grass with large airy, open panicles of golden-yellow flowers produced over, more or less evergreen, narrow, dark-green leaves. Jun-Aug. H45cm S60cm. Flowers to H120cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist but well-drained, fertile soil in sun or part shade. Trim back old growth in early spring before new growth begins.
