Cosmos atrosanguineus 'Chocamocha'

Cosmos atrosanguineus 'Chocamocha'

Common Name: 'Chocolate flower'

PBR. A tuberous perennial with gorgeous, dark, velvety-red flowers which smell of chocolate. Jul-Sep. H60cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

It needs a sunny, sheltered site with good drainage and can be difficult to over-winter in an average border. In cold areas lift tubers before first frosts and keep frost-free over winter. Try growing it in a largish pot, which is then brought into a shed and kept barely moist during the winter.
