Carex testacea 'Prairie Fire'

Common Name: 'Sedge'

A nice evergreen grass. Olive green foliage turns deep red in summer and throughout autumn. In late summer panicles of rosy flowers appear just above the leaves. Jul-Aug, H60cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in sun or partial shade and fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Looks good growing in a pot.
