Care Instructions
Plant at soil level in moist, humus-rich conditions in semi-shade. Intolerant of hot or dry sites. The bulbs die after flowering but usually produce offsets and copious amounts of seed. It takes 5-7 years to produce flowering size plants from seed. The dried seed heads can be used in flower arrangements.
