Common Name: 'Elephant's ears'

This is a big growing variety with particularly large leaves which are tinged pink beneath and which are brushed copper-red in winter. Deep pink flowers are produced from reddish stems in spring. Apr-May. H60cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. Dislikes hot, dry conditions but tolerates poor soil and exposed sites. Frosts may damage early flowers. Good foliage effect for gardens where hostas do not thrive.
