Bergenia 'Morgenröte'
Synonym(s): Bergenia 'Morning Red' Common Name: 'Elephant's ears'AGM. Evergreen, deep green leaves with dark carmine-pink flowers produced in spring. A notable attribute of this variety is its tendency to produce a second crop of flowers later in the season, particularly in cool summers. Apr-May. H45cm S45cm.
Care Instructions
Best grown in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade. Dislikes hot, dry conditions but tolerates poor soil and exposed sites. Frosts may damage early flowers.
