Synonym(s): Baptisia caerulea Common Name: 'False indigo'AGM. Long spikes of violet-blue, lupin-like flowers are followed by ornamental seed heads. The slightly bluish foliage and the dark grey seed pods are attractive in their own right, providing interest in periods when the plant is not in flower. Jun-Aug. H120cm S60cm.

Care Instructions
It is easy to grow, but slow to establish compared with other herbaceous plants and is best left undisturbed. Grow in full sun in a fertile, well-drained soil. Reliable, long-lived and drought resistant once established.
