Common Name: 'False goat's beard'

A clump-forming, deciduous perennial with toothed, deeply-divided, red-bronze-flushed, dark green leaves. Upright, branched panicles of white flowers that age pale pink. Jul-Aug. H60cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in moist, fertile, humus-rich soil in full sun or partial shade. Dislikes soil which dries out in summer. Divide every few years to maintain vigour. Excellent for pondside planting or for a bog garden, associating well with hostas and ferns.
