Synonym(s): Cimicifuga Atropurpurea Group Common Name: 'Baneberry'

Formerly known as Cimicifuga Atropurpurea Group. Scented, slender, white bottlebrush flowers, tinged pale pink, are formed on black stems above attractive purple-brown foliage. Very nice but not as dark as some of the other varieties that we list. Sep-Oct. H150cm S60cm.

Care Instructions

Grow in cool, moist, moderately fertile soil, enriched with organic matter. Try growing with Astilbe 'Bronce Elegans' at its feet and Hosta Krossa Regal to contrast with the foliage.
