Digitalis parviflora 'Milk Chocolate'

Common Name: 'Foxglove'

A nice species with long glossy, dark green basal leaves and long narrow spikes of small reddish-brown flowers in late summer and early autumn. It is perennial but may be short-lived. Jul-Sep, H60cm S40cm.

Care Instructions

Prefers sun or partial shade and ideally in a moist, humus-rich soil but will grow almost anywhere as long as it is not too wet or very dry. Cut down to the ground after flowering to encourage further flowers from side shoots. 

Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, toxic if eaten.
