Common Name: 'Wake-robin'Deep maroon, outward-facing flowers with broad recurved petals are held above a whorl of three large glossy leaves. Apr-May. H45cm S30cm.
Care Instructions
Requires a humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in semi-shade or deep shade and benefits from plenty of added leaf mould. It can be slow to establish and is best left undisturbed to gradually build up a good clump. Not for impatient gardeners.
