Tricyrtis 'Empress'
Synonym(s): Tricyrtis formosana 'Empress', Tricyrtis dilatata 'Empress' Common Name: 'Toad lily'A herbaceous perennial with broad, lance-shaped hairy green leaves. In late summer and early autumn bearing large white flowers, richly and cleanly-spotted with purple-maroon, and with yellow throats. Aug-Oct. Height 75cm Spread 50cm.
Care Instructions
Grow in moisture-retentive but well-drained, leafy, humus-rich soil in partial shade in a sheltered, humid site. Suitable for a woodland garden or shady border.
